The opening is centred around the theme of “connecting dentistry & art”. Both disciplines require a high degree of precision and craftsmanship to achieve a perfect result. Both dentistry and art must be able to combine technical knowledge and creative skills in order to create unique, high-quality work that is not only functional but also aesthetically impressive. On the occasion of the opening, the invited artists Ju Schnee and Marius Sperlich will present their works at the arona dental centre Berlin.
Marius Sperlich
Berlin-based artist Marius Sperlich is known for his unique fusion of extreme close-ups with a variety of different materials. The photographs present the viewer with rich colours and a high-gloss look. Sperlich aims to get particularly close to the viewer with his photos. He has already shown his artwork in large group exhibitions and completed commissions for fashion companies such as Dior. He has over half a million followers on his Instagram account, which he uses as a platform to share his artwork with others.
Ju Schnee
Ju Schnee’s art is a dialogue between an abstract painted world and the physical object. A balance of imagination, manifestation and reaction. From abstract painting to manifested sculpture to reaction via augmented reality and the return to the digital world. She has already shown her work in institutions such as the VOLTA Art Fair Basel and other international art fairs such as “The Other Art Fair” by Saatchi Art, Mitlerntor Gallery, OEVER Gallery in Belgium, incubARTor in Hamburg, Cohle Gallery in Germany and Prior Art Space in Spain.
